THE POWER TO MOVE YOU.

The fully equipped 7.2-channel Elite^® SC-82 AV receiver delivers advanced Pioneer connectivity in a multi-zone receiver with features to match its performance. Perfect for custom home entertainment installations, the robust aluminum front panel and insulated dual chassis house the power and finesse of Elite Class D³ amplification.

Powerful, Efficient Class D³ Amplification.

The Elite SC-82 delivers seven channels of cutting-edge Elite Class D³ amplification for a total of 660 Watts multi-channel simultaneous drive. Rated at 130 watts x 7 channels (8 Ohms, 1kHz, 0.08% THD 2 Ch), this is significantly more simultaneous multi-channel power than the Class AB competition, the SC-82 reproduces music and soundtracks with uncompromising authority and realism, exploiting the full dynamics from any media source. And Elite Class D³ amplifiers are 4-ohm certified, so they safely power low-impedance speakers that other receivers aren’t made to handle. And they run cooler than conventional Class AB designs, using just a fraction of the energy while delivering more power with all channels driven. In fact, the SC-82 is so efficient, it proudly wears ENERGY STAR^® label.

HDMI 2.0 for 4K.

The Elite SC-82 features HDMI 2.0, the newest version of the HDMI standard which offers increased bandwidth, resolution and frame-rate capability, supporting 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. With 7 HDMI inputs and 2 outputs, you’ve got plenty of connectivity options for the growing number of high-definition sources available.

Ultimate Sound Control with Advanced MCACC^®.
Imagine having your own sound engineer precision-tuning your system to your living room — that’s what Advanced Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration system (MCACC) is like. With the push of a button, the Elite SC-82 calibrates your room sound using a microphone to monitor the sound environment and an equalizer to optimize and precision-tune each speaker to the room.

4K Pass-Through.

4K Ultra HD Pass-through is the recognized standard of ultra-high video resolution, boasting 3,840 x 2,160 (24 Hz/25 Hz/30 Hz) pixels or 4,096 x 2,160 (24 Hz) pixels. Every Elite AV receiver can pass through 4K video signals to any compatible display, offering the highest-quality image available — a full four times the current HD standard!

Get the Big Picture with Qdeo^® Video Processing

Experience an exceptional, virtually noise-free picture regardless of the source. Qdeo video processing technology by Marvell and a 4K Scaler allows you to up-scale any video source to 4K Ultra HD resolution for improved picture quality and compatibility with next generation TVs, and makes Blu-ray Disc™ and DVD content look more detailed and cinematic than ever before.
